Batch an Upscale Only After One Frame Survives

The limits are the batch

Guests and Free plan run one file at a time. Pro, at $12 a month or $120 a year, runs 12. Studio, at $29 a month or $290 a year, runs 40. Those numbers are in the pricing HTML and on this page. A folder of two hundred is several jobs, not one unlimited queue. There is no unlimited plan. Credits do not roll over. A pack can sit beside the plan: 60, 125, 500, or 1,200 credits, valid 365 days, spent after the plan balance, not refunded.

Each file in the batch spends the mode’s credits. 2×, denoise, and unblur cost one. Colorize, 4×, and face restore cost two. 8× costs four and is Studio only. A batch of twelve 4× frames is twenty-four credits. Do the multiplication before you drop the folder. A failed file returns its own credit. A finished file you dislike does not, and it does not refund its neighbors.

Upload limits still apply per file. Pro is 20 MB and a 4,096 px long edge. Studio is 40 MB and 8,192. A camera original past that edge must be exported smaller or it will be refused, and a refusal is not a charge. HEIC is refused on every plan. Export JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF first.

Prove one, then the set

Pick the frame you are most afraid of: the soft face, the tiny type, the noisy sky. Run it alone. Read the page for that defect. If it fails, the batch would have failed in bulk. If it passes, the rest of the set may still fail, but you have a reason to continue. A shoebox, a listing, and a wedding are different fears. Do not use one mode for all of them because the button was already selected.

The API is the batch path for a script. Create a key on the account page. POST /api/v1/jobs with the mode and one or more file fields, inside the plan’s batch size. The key is rate-limited per ten minutes: 20 calls on Free plan, 60 on Pro, 180 on Studio. The call also spends credits. Download within 24 hours. The reference is /docs/api. A guest browser session is not a key.

Mixed modes are mixed requests. Do not denoise and upscale in one mental step and expect one button to do both. Run denoise across the noisy subset, look, then upscale the files that are also small. Two batches, two decisions. The slider on a single proof is still the control. A free plan of results is not a substitute for reading one at 100 percent.

What a batch does not store

Every file and every result is deleted 24 hours after its job is created, on Studio the same as on the free tool. A batch is not an archive and not a DAM. Download the keepers the day you make them. Ads can appear on the free pages. The preview is not watermarked. Free downloads stop at 3,200 px on the long edge. Paid plans keep the full file.

Commercial use is allowed on every plan when you have the rights to the files. A client folder you do not have rights to process is still not allowed, and a batch makes that mistake larger. The subscription can be cancelled anytime and is not refunded. Pack credits that expire do not come back.

If the provider errors, the credit returns. If you simply wanted a different look, run another job. Disliking a success is not a failure. The mock provider, when configured, finishes locally and is labeled. Production uses the Replicate models named in the environment.

A worked frame

You have 30 catalog photos and you want 2×. The credit math is 30 credits if every file is 2×, which is one Pro month’s 120 with room left, or a 60-credit pack if you would rather not subscribe. The batch size is still 12 on Pro, so the folder is three jobs, not one. Prove the photo with the smallest label first. If a digit changes, do not run the other 29. Studio's 40 would fit the folder in one drop and would still be the wrong drop if the proof failed. The API repeats the same rule: several file fields, the plan’s batch cap, and a ten-minute window of 60 calls on Pro. A call that creates 12 jobs is one call and 12 credits. A failure of one file returns that file’s credit only. Download all 30 the same day. The sweep does not know they are a catalog. Pack credits spend after the 120 plan credits and die at 365 days. They are not refunded. HEIC in the folder is refused per file and is not a charge.
